Frequently Asked Questions

We understand that receiving a massage, especially your first massage, can come with a lot of questions. Below are some questions that we get very often from clients just like you. We hope that they help you on your journey to optimum health. If we haven’t answered your question here, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

I’ve been in an auto accident, what do I do now?

The first thing you need to do is call your auto insurance agent and follow any instructions they have for you. Once you have a claim number you need to see your primary care physician or chiropractor to be examined and treated for injuries. After you see your primary care physician or chiropractor you can then set up an appointment for a massage to be treated for your soft tissue injuries. Scheduling a massage before any of these things are done we’ll limit our ability to bill your auto insurance.

What happens if my insurance doesn’t pay?

Everyone is in Colorado is required to carry a minimum of $5,000.00 of med pay. If you have opted out of med pay, we will not be able to bill your insurance. Med Pay is a part of your auto insurance set aside specifically to cover medical bills due to auto injuries. We will bill your auto insurance through your med pay first. Once you have reached this limit, your insurance can deny any future claims. You are ultimately responsible to pay for anything your auto insurance does not pay in full. It is up to you to stay in contact with your insurance agent and to understand your med pay balance during your care.

What do I need for my first appointment?

At your first appointment after your auto injury you will need:

  • Name and phone number of your insurance agent
  • The claim number and the date of the accident
  • Diagnosis codes your Primary Care Physician or Chiropractor gave you after seeing them post injury OR the name and phone number of your primary care physician or chiropractor

Do I need to bill my insurance?

You do not need to bill your auto insurance. We will submit bills  and treatment notes to your auto insurance carrier on your behalf.

Do you bill my health insurance?

The accident wasn’t my fault. Will you bill the other party’s insurance?
